Suzanne Rampton BSc(Hons), MA, FHEA, FD Counselling

I use a relational humanistic approach in my counselling practice based on Transactional Analysis. I work within the BACP ethic framework with an emphasis on valuing the client’s autonomy as the central focus. I work with clients who have come to counselling for a variety of reasons. This includes bereavement and relationship problems as well as those seeking support to resolve or manage long term issues that have led to psychological distress. I also work with clients that have long term health concerns such as women managing the challenges of menopause.

I engage with regular supervision to support my client work and ongoing professional development (CPD) to ensure my practice is evidenced based and informed by best practice guidelines where appropriate.

I have worked with the Stroke Association, and Cruse Bereavement Charities as a volunteer, supporting clients to adapt to life after a stroke and bereavement. I continue to work with a local charity as a counsellor supporting individuals that have experienced abuse (either sexual, violence or cohesive control).

I offer a safe space for clients looking for support to work through their distress and find their autonomy. If you are ready to take the next steps in seeking counselling support and would like to arrange a preliminary assessment session then please make contract either by email or the contact page section.
